Hi everyone,

I received my GMCS notes ( finally !) and I am so confused at what to look at. Some of the information seem to contradict itself.

The last page with analysts notes says " recommended pass" even though I was told by multiple agents that my eligibility has been met.
It also says that Criminality not started, but I was also told by different agents that that was done.
Finally, it says that my husband's police certificate is not on file, even though we have uploaded that. Should I send it again?

Also, what else should I be looking for on these notes.

Hope everyone who is waiting for their PR are still seeing that glimpse of light at the end of the very dark tunnel. | sigh |
Can you paste screenshots of the notes ?

Guys,

I need a help. As I posted earlier, my wife who is the primary applicant, is pregnant now and due to medical complication, we are not in the position to have our child birth there in Canada. And as per COPR, we have to do our immigration before June which is actually her due month. So instead of extending our entry date from June, we are thinking to step into Canada to complete the PR process and leave back to India within 2 weeks by providing my relatives Canadian mailing address.

Now, what would be the consequences or is it ok to do this? Please suggest me.
It is Ok, you can do that, don't worry. I suggest you wait there a few weeks until you get your cards.

Guess I'd share my more-than-template CSE response I just got:

"
We have verified the information you provided and can confirm that the agent who responded to you on December 27, 2018 and January 8, 2019, took the appropriate actions to follow up on your request.

If you do not receive more information or a decision by February 8, 2019, we invite you to contact us again by using the IRCC Web form available on our website.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.
"
Was reading more into the 2 dates the agent mentioned (cuz what else I can do at this point -_-): Dec 27, 2018 was the date that supervisor of the CIC Calgary replied to me, and her email reply was logged into the GCMS, that I can see in the notes sent by CBSA.

But on January 8, 2019 I actually did not have any communication with them. It was the day after the CBSA ATIP processing officer that contacted me came back from holiday, but I didn't contact her until the next day on January 9 and it was just asking whether the note was on-route. So, hopefully, January 8 was the date that someone touched my file!!.. or it was just a typo.. or it meant nothing at all.. darn it why did they give me a specific date in the near future?! now I've something to look forward and it is destroying my zen!

Was this reply before or after your CBSA notes?

"Destroying my zen"

Haha loved it. Btw do you have anything redacted or showing sign of security screening in your gcms note? I have ordered my cbsa note back in January 6th.

You mean the CSE response? Just 2 days ago. And I got my CBSA note 2 weeks ago.
That totally confuses things.
Does it mean you may not actually be in SS? What actions did the agent taje to follow up on your request?

:p
My CBSA notes have confirmed I'm in "Comprehensive" security screening, started in July and updated on August.

And yes I remember you mentioned that you ordered the notes, I have been following the thread partly because I'm interested in what your notes said!

Your AOR is June Right?
Since it was started in July it means it's been 7 months so far. Hopefully it'll be done in a few more months.
@Mr_nobody when did your SS start?

Don't know but since all these CSE agents are just reading from the GCMS I assumed must be something that warrants a log into my notes.

Anyway, will see what next week brings. Had been digging into old posts, it seems ppl that got this kind of response did get PPR around the date provided, or at least given some sort of attention to forward a note to respective office if they don't.

Really? You mean Alberta gives the coverage from Day1? Seriously?
She was advised by one doctor not to travel but then Second opinion gave us another thought.
By the way, in my COPR, it has been mentioned that my Destination province as BC and City of destination as Richmond. Does it mean I have to land only there or land anywhere?
Personal advice, don't migrate to a new country with your first child due so soon. It is very difficult to adapt to a new country and at the same take care of a new born. Speaking as a father who just had the first child, it is a lot of work. Trust me you need the support of the family. My baby is 5 weeks old and we rotate in shifts to take care of her. I cannot imagine having to do this in a new country where I also need to search for a job.

If it is not impacting your PR (apart from the delay), have the child in your country. By the time IRCC gives you the new COPR, your new born would be around 2 months and then you can fly. I heard it gets easier when the infant reaches 2 months, so great.

Yeah so per my analysis from the data I have on the spreadsheet, everyone who had a document or two missing or needed a comprehensive review were either already informed of this before October or their file did not move after July or August.

But what about us? Moved to IP2, Security not started yet and no idea what is going to happen when. :(
