Hey guys I just received a new PPR letter issued from Ottawa. My passport submission location change took 80 hours ( if you take out the 24 hours of the Jan 1st public holiday, then it took a total of 56 hours).
It works guys!
Congratulations! Will take pointers from you if I get PPR from NDVO and have to change VO.

Hi Friends,
I am May 30 AoR - FSW India (US Residence). I have been in IP1 since forever and was in Review Required for no clear reason.

Today morning I got an update "Application/profile updated" and I moved to IP2. Just check and I got a ghost update again.

Has someone else been in that situation where they got a ghost update on the same day of moving to IP2?

There are many, people like @tanush14 have got 2 ghost updates too.

Congratulations on the ghost update.

Thank you @tobs

I raised a CSE to enquire about PPR email and got the following reply. Not sure if it is the PPR email they are talking about. I haven’t received anything. Raised another CSE asking them to resend it.

We have verified the information you provided. For further information regarding your enquiry, please refer to the email that was sent to you on December 18, 2018, to the following address: xxxxxxxxxxxxx

We recommend that you also verify your junk mail folder, since emails may be rerouted there if your email program is set to filter or block emails coming from outside of your contact list.

Furthermore, since this letter was sent by email, it will not be available in the messages section of your online account.

If you have not received our email, you may advise us by using the IRCC Web form and it will be our pleasure to send it back to you.

Poor soul. Had to be with us, despite getting the PPR. May you find your golden email soon.

It looks like they're saying they already sent the PPR.
Raise another webform that the PPR wasn't received.
Email NDVO & CPC Ottawa saying you were told you had been sent PPR but you haven't received it. Quote/forward this reply in your email.

Heartiest Congratulations Tobs!!!!
Can u please let us know the procedure to change LVO?
When you receive the PPR from NDVO, email NDVO/reply the PPR email or write a new email with subject "Urgent! Request for change of passport submission location"

The body of the email can go thus:

Good day Madam/Sir,

Please I'd like to request a change of the VFS for submission of passports from the VFS in India to the VFS in xxxx, zzzz for onward transmission to Canadian Visa office yyyyyy.
I'm currently living in zzzzz and the VFS in xxxxx has refused to accept the passports for submission to the visa office in New Delhi, insisting on a change of location to yyyyy.

I would appreciate an updated passport request letter to reflect a passport submission to yyyyy and not New Delhi.

I appreciate your help.

Yes!! I also received a new PPR Letter from cpc Ottawa! Whoop! Whoop!
Congrats darling.
Go with two copies of your passport bio data page, two passport photographs in the required format and N18,340 cash in change (the bank teller will always say he/she doesn't have change).
That's what I had to pay in the VFS in Lagos, Nigeria

I won't be surprised if your second notes arrive before the first. Sometimes there's an unexplained delay.
Did you use GCMS buddy for the second notes as well?
Yes I used GCMS buddy both times. I will use Get GCMS next time sigh...

Super helpful!! thanks once again @tobs!

Yeah I am continously going to mail them till they provide appropriate response. Well that's within my right..
Yes please do that . I apologize for my bluntness there.

I actually emailed them couple of times and they responded with generic response With no helpful information and I noticed number of people getting such responses. However if your application is approved , they will respond with PPR in some days like Prashant mentioned previously.

Thank you @Prashant86_2000 and @tobs

I raised another CSE straightaway to ask them to resend it and got a reply that the agent who replied me in the first place took necessary steps to follow up on my enquiry. How long should it take you guys think?
They'll definitely get back to you. It might take a couple of days. If you don't hear anything by Wednesday, raise another CSE.
