Hi Guys

My AOR date was May 25 and I talked to agent at call center , they confirmed my application have been approved but didn't get any email

So I gave it a try ,sent an email to delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca (But I am not from India )then I got a Passport Request Letter from them

today .They asking me to mail passport to Ottawa( I am in Canada right now ) but my country don't need a visa to visit Canada only need eTA

Is that still mean I need to mail it ?

I think when agent on fon says security not started that actually means its done.. file is just waiting to be reviewed by VO..in queue. This has happened with a few.. they got knw abt security not started on fon and very nxt day they got ppr.. so. .

Please note that sending repeated case status enquiries or phone calls takes resources away from file processing, resulting in longer processing times.

Due to a high volume of inquiries we can only respond if you have an application in process. The service standard is 15 working days.



Important: If you are the applicant or authorized representative, you must provide us with:

Your application number;

Surname and Given name(s);

Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);

Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number or Passport number;


If you did not provide us with this information, we will not be able to provide a response.



We are not able to respond to questions regarding:

· How to make an application online or at the VFS in India or Nepal

· Expedited processing of non-urgent cases

· Confirmation of receipt of documents or passports

· Status updates on applications within processing times

· Reporting GCKey issues

· General information about immigration programs or processes.



Starting December 31, 2018 you will need to give your biometrics when you submit an application for a visitor’s visa, study or work permit or for permanent residency.
