HI All,

Received my GCMS notes today. Primary office: CIO and Secondary Office: CPC Ottawa (first page of notes). I also have Dhaka, OSC and CPC Vergeville listed as Secondary Offices on page 3.

I emailed Dhaka office yesterday and got a reply that this service of PR applications has relocated to Singapore. They gave me a contact address for SGVO and when I contacted them, today I got a response that my file is being processed by CIO.

Should I email CPC Ottawa now? Or will Vergeville issue my PPR? Any ideas @CoolSandy @tobs @cansha
I think you should mail Ottawa as its listed in secondary offices

@shishirkona @NareshC I was searching "Bangladesh" on this forum to seen it I'll come across any information on visa offices for applicants form there. And I came across "Singapore VO" mentioned a few times.
The email addresses I found.
Singapore-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca
spore-cs@international.gc.ca
spore@international.gc.ca
Nb: the first email ID seems to be for immigration.
Thank you! I emailed them and got the reply that the file is being processed at CIO.

You're closer than ever. Maybe January is going to be your month. We are waiting too, because we don't know what's going on, we can't decide when to get married. when to sell the house and so on. Too many unknowns.

We're considering Mauritius as it seems very beautiful and also seems a bit cheaper than Seychelles ? We also want to do some island hopping so we'll see how it all goes.
Hehehe...if island hopping is your thing, then get married in Mauritius, and celebrate your honeymoon in Seychelles :D Best of both worlds I'd say...
Re the processing of our applications, it's trying times we are all going through. I'm putting my little one in pre-school next year, paid the fees already and stuck where I am for another year by the looks of it. Where I am happens to be Mauritius, so, I guess I'll live :D But, personal plans are definitely at stake here. We need to relocate to be closer to my son's school, so already found a place but keep holding off on the lease agreement thinking what if the PPR comes in the meantime! As on date though, and looking at what you're going through, I recommend we stop putting off plans, do what we want to do, and let the PPR processing keep happening in the distant background. Of course, we do our thing, order GCMS notes, call CIC and raise CSE webforms to tell them we're alive, but that's it. No putting off living to the fullest today so we can live life king size in Canada tomorrow :p

Hi guys,

I have 4 days remaining for my 6 month to complete, should I wait or approach IRCC for update? Or NDVO? Or which agency ?? Secondly, what happens to the application message if 6 month croses, that 20% category? Currently its showing as background check in underway. No additional doc, no biometric required. Help please.
OK. My application timeline runs out in 3 days, so I guess I'm your senior in this regard ;) Repeating myself here from an earlier post, but hope it helps you:
I spoke to an agent 2 days ago who told me my security has still not been initiated (after Criminality was passed on 26th Oct 18). She also concurred that the progress bar is a sham - rather a refreshing conversation to have with someone on the other side of the line. To cut a long story short, she suggested I raise an email request to Ottawa (CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca) telling them that in my case it is taking unusually long for security to commence. I've done the needful last evening, but have little hope they will act on it. I've also ordered my notes on 26th Nov, so someone will definitely have to get my file out at least by the 1st week of Jan when the 35-day period ends (as they say, notes are generated 30-35 days after being ordered). The agent herself mentioned that there is nothing we can do that will guarantee a look at the file by the visa officer - it's a game of chance. Having said that, cases are taking longer as the agent confirmed, and the progress bar is not helping since it's stuck at the 6-month processing period, which is no longer the case for folks like us! You and I are in pretty much the same boat since our timeline runs out in 4 and 3 days respectively, so we have the unpleasant 'Your application is in the 20% of cases that are taking longer to process' message to look forward to

So, we just talked to an agent! A very friendly one, who said everything in our case looks good. Status unchanged:

Eligibility: Met
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
Secrutiy: Not Started

She said to call back on March 26 2019... A specific date far into the future.
Hmmm...I might have been speaking to the same agent 2 days ago...but mine never gave me a specific date to get back to her on. She was the most positive person around, so implied anything could change for the best, and fast!!! I'd suggest you send a mail to your Visa Office, as I did to cpc-ctd-ottawa@cic.gc.ca in the hope of moving things along. And, yes, I also ordered my GCMS notes on 26th Nov :) I'd suggest you keep your bases covered, as we're in the identical situation re eligibility and security, and we just need to get SOMEONE to look at our file for it to move across the last leg...Cheers!

Hey Nishika,
Does that mean you're going to have to soft land when you get your PPR now that you've committed to another year in Mauritius?

Thanks! I emailed them. In my PR visa and COPR queue, the assigned code is 9515 which I figured is CPC Ottawa, so looks like Ottawa will issue my PPR. Any insights?

I have no idea what those numbers mean.
