I haven't posted on this thread for a while, so here is my updated timeline.
I am the sponsor, and my hisband is the PA. He is Filipino so he is with the Manila visa office.
His GC Key still says they are reviewing eligibility, but he got invitation to pre arrival services on January 26 2018.
Im not sure how long we have until DM.
Or even how long until they start his background check. Its been 8 months already.
Anyways, heres the timeline:
Filed: June 26 2017
AOR1: July 27 2017
File Transfer to MANILA: August 11 2017
AOR2: August 11 2017
Medical Request: August 8 2017
Medical Done: September 22 2017 (asked for extension on deadline)
Additional Documents Requested: September 8 2017
Additional Documents Submitted: November 6 2017 (got extension for this as it was a long process to obtain the requested documents)
Pre Arrival services Invitation: January 27 2018
GC Key/ ECAS states "Eligibility Passed": ???
Background Check in Process: ????
Passport Request: ???
Passport Received: ???
Landed in Canada: ???

@dhvanixox Could you tell us if the bcg update you got yesterday was along with the bulk update most people received? Was it around the same time?
I believe they posted yesterday that bgc went into process.
Yes I gathered that from his/her posts, but if they know the time of the update we can be more sure.
