Wonderful!, I have a question for you, did the request your passport after the DM or before the DM? The request the Passport for my application before the DM. this was little weird to me.

They only request passports once they've made a decision and also this decision is positive (approved). So if you get the passport request first, you can say you've gotten DM. It's just a matter of when they updated it on the system (Ecas).

Thank you JulianaAndrew, for response. this help. what make mine weird was that they request passport, medical exam, Schedule A and police certificate on the same time ( September 14). Medical was done on September 25, and on the September 27, the online Account changed to medical passed but application is still in progress. The order of thing seems little weird , but thank you for the explanation, I hope it changes positive(Approved) soon

The order of things doesn't seem that weird. When did the VO receive the application? The very first thing they do, as this is what I've noticed, is that they assess if the relationship is genuine. If you think about it, that's the first step of the process, after that the sponsored's admissibility to Canada would be assessed. Unless your passport was requested for a different reason, I'd say you're most likely approved, unless the sponsored is inadmissible to Canada.

The file was transferred to the visa office on Aug 29. Never received communication in between. All I received (September 14th) was a letter requesting passport, medical exam, Schedule A and police certificate. My sponsored is very clean, no any spot at all. Passed medical. Thank you, though for helping me understand that there is nothing wrong with the sequence of events. Thanks
 
Congrats those who got the passport request.

Rest all do you know how much time does New Delhi visa office takes after receiving the application??
 
Just noticed Background Check changed to NOT Applicable in GC key
It was changed to "We are processing your application" from "your application is in process" yesterday
But still no email for file transfer to VO or 3rd line on ecas

Anyone else experienced the same thing?

It can take a few days don't worry even after visa transfer letter, AOR2 can take anywhere between 1-7 days. But this means that your file is about to be transferred.
