I am not too sure about it Calculation is based on days you were out of Canada, so you came back from Pakistan and Saudi was just on route so you just enter Pakistan.

I think it is OK. Personally I prefer to be on the safe side and have some buffer but generally there is no need to wait

Guys
How did you copy your COPR document? The text on it is very light and very difficult to read from a photocopy. Any suggestions?

Try to scan the document and print it. The quality is always better than direct copy.

Hi

Few questions as i am filling my application and planning to send it today.

1. There is a question that mailing address if different from home address.
It is same as my home address. Do i need to put N/A there or just leave it blank?

2. There is a question asking consent to get LINC information. I have done CELPIP and attaching its results. Do i need to select Yes or No for LINC or just leave it blank?

3. Shall we attach colored photocoipes of passport or black and white?

4. I have completed 1462 days today as per calculator. Is it ok to submit or i need to wait few more days? I got my CBSA records to be accurate and its exactly 1462 days so i am 100% sure on it.

5. How do you send the application. Using canada post or fedex?

6. Do you staple the pics to application or just put them in envelope?

Appreciate if someone can give a quick reply. Thanks
My answers based on what I did on my application:

1- I put N/A on the first text box, I believe there will be no harm
2- Under the LINC consent question, they say if you don't provide consent then you have to attach an English proof document with the application.
3- Doesn't matter, I attached a colored copies
4- I've noticed in the sheet that some old applicants applied with 1461 days and they got they oath
5- I've sent it through Purolator, $30 and it took 1 business day
7- It is clearly mentioned in the guide not to staple the pics to the application, just put them in a small envelope and make sure to write the name at the back of each pic

GOOD LUCK

If I were you, I will be precise and add two entries. You should mention the reason of your visits and they might varies

Hi

Answers to your Question what I have done on my application

1. There is a question that mailing address if different from home address.
It is same as my home address. Do i need to put N/A there or just leave it blank? I did mentioned N/A in different mailing address

2. There is a question asking consent to get LINC information. I have done CELPIP and attaching its results. Do i need to select Yes or No for LINC or just leave it blank? I left it Blank without selection anything

3. Shall we attach colored photocoipes of passport or black and white? I sent Black and White photocopies of all my documents.

4. I have completed 1462 days today as per calculator. Is it ok to submit or i need to wait few more days? I got my CBSA records to be accurate and its exactly 1462 days so i am 100% sure on it. If you are 100% double sure that it is more than 1460 days they you can apply the next day onwards... there is absolutely no issues with it.

5. How do you send the application. Using canada post or fedex? Both of them deliver in 2 -3 days depending on what service you opt for. I sent mine using Fedex.

6. Do you staple the pics to application or just put them in envelope? I attached photos with a UClip on my application form...

Hope this Helps

My experience with the residency calculator is you have to enter the first destination where you went in your visit, if from there you went to another country then you will mention that in the Reason Filed, as it is stated to do so.

But if incase you make it completely new entry then those calculations dont match up with exact days... as This calculator minus 2 days from your calculation.

I have calculated mine as I have stated to you.

If these trips details were mine, I would have entered as

FROM TO DESTINATION Reason DAYS

April 20 May 3 SAUDI Visiting and Visiting Family in Pakistan Add the days

I selected no for quebec electoral register related consent

Courier cost depends on the package weight... it can be from $28 to $75... I sent mine using Fedex... On these forums i am seeing many are sending using Purolator as well... Any company u select just make sure you have the tracking and preferred if you can have the signature as well...

I wanted to tell everyone not to do 2 entries as they consider first and last day as inside canada which mess up the calculation.

Just make sure you put the right dates of absence from Canada , the day you left and they day you came back. double check with stamps for entry dates and flight tickets for the day of exit. The calculator will do its job.
