Hey all -- I spoke to IRCC this morning and found out that my application is being handled out of the Scarborough office. The spreadsheet says Toronto, though. Are those the same thing? Or do I need to request the spreadsheet be updated?
On Spread sheet it is your location.... not the processing office location.

Interesting. Out of curiosity, wouldn't the processing office location be a better data point on which to compare?
Or perhaps getting the information in the first place is too cumbersome?

19th May 2011- Thanks to Almighty!
So things turned out for us in the similar fashion.
We are travelling on 21 Dec. and they have sent the oath invite for19th Dec.
I 've requested for rescheduling through email to Edmonton office attaching copy of our tickets.
Now my question is if and how would we know that they have received our request or considering it?
Should I contact Call Centre too?
Any ideas how it work for such requests?
Thanks
Yes, i will say to give a call or send a web form inquiry and do confirm whether they have received your email for rescheduling the oath date.

A citizen can not be a PR card holder or a visa holder of the country of the citizenship. Once you take the oath your are a citizen and should not be able to carry a PR of the country literally.

See below from the CIC website:
Once you are granted citizenship, you are no longer a permanent resident (PR) and your PR card will no longer be valid. We will collect your PR card at the citizenship ceremony.

You only need the citizenship certificate and your passport application with pictures and an ID ofcourse. Landing document is not required anymore since you would be a citizen already at that point :)
Thanks for your reply. So we don't need to take photocopies with the guarantor's signature?
Also it seems that there is no need to wait for 2 days after ceremony to apply for passport, we can go on the next day and apply for one. Is that true?

As a new citizen, you must wait at least two business days after your ceremony before you can apply for services, such as a passport.

You do not need photocopies if you submit originals.

@Canadian555 Waiting to hear about your test and interview...
I passed the test 19/20. The test was easy (mostly MCQs and few True/False) and the interviewed was great. The officer is very friendly. During the interview, most important they checked my passport (expired and valid) because I travelled to other country twice, health card / driver license, PR card and COPR. Then she asked me a few questions about my job etc. It took me 10 minutes to complete interview until Officer was very satisfy. Then they sent me an oath letter immediately after interview. (I was so surprised, never thought about it). And my oath ceremony will be on Dec 21, 2017. :)

I am curious, anyone who did receive the oath letter same day that officer sent you while interview?

To be honest, please make sure, NO MISSING ENTRY/EXIT stamp on your passport and also NOT TO MUCH TRAVEL OUTSIDE COUNTRY while you have PR holder otherwise they will ask a lot of questions during interview. Because I heard few people here did a lot of travel, their interview was very long.

Note: To be honest, most important try to study book on 'Discover Canada', as mentioned in the letter (AOR and Test invited). Need to focus on it three - four times as well as practice test online but you need to understand the phrases and sentences. Because online practices are different than real test questions, not very much similar but they are common.

Best online quizzes, I did practice:

Congrats! even for me after my interview I was given the oath ceremony letter right away. I think the Mississauga center does that :)
