Should we cry ? as we waited for 57 days ?

Includes assessment of sponsor: 36 days (India)

If you change your name to your married name from your maiden name you will be required to obtain a new passport with new name and submit all new forms with married name.
It would be much much easier to just wait until after you land.

Yeah, I'm already in the process of changing my passport. I figured it's easier (and a lot cheaper) to change it here than in Canada and forms with married name shouldn't be much of an issue. I hope. :)

When you applied in June, the SA timeline was 55 or 56 days I believe as they must have recieved a lot of applications. It was just updated last week to 46 and today to 36 so it seems things are quieting down now.

I called CIC on 53rd day and was updated about SA. but 56 compared to 36 :)

Current Applicants are lucky and at the same time, worried that all the July and August Applications stack in NDVO along with June :)

When I applied in February it was 39 days.

Also, almost all the February NDVO applicants received PPR and DM in early May while having a longer process time than Indonesia

Go figure.

Thanks for the help so far guys. My visa office is NDVO and I see that most of the people are getting AOR2 (even the ones who applied later than me). I am not sure if should be waiting for AOR2 or should I call anyone to enquire? Please help.

got the AOR2 today :D :D :D

any ideas on how soon do you hear from them again?

Does NDVO send AOR 2 to everyone or do few people never receive it?

Haven't received mine yet so don't know what UCI is assigned to me, SA Approval 15th August (confirmed on phone), SA letter received 23rd August, file confirmed and transferred to NDVO by agent. ECAS has In Process on both sides but no third line.
MyCIC shows:
Eligibility: In Progress
Medicals : Passed
Everything else Not Started or Not required.

Does this mean file is in Delhi and entered in their system -- making this assumption based on status on MyCIC? Feel free to clarify or educate me if it isn't the case :)

Never mind ...Lols! I just got my AOR 2 from NDVO....

Now I just have to pay my landing fee and send it across.... assume this can be done online?'

Can anyone share the link on how to send the landing fee receipt to New Delhi?

Hi, to all the members of the forum.......
Yesterday I got a mail from NDVO asking me for

1)Proof of payment of my Right of Permanent Resident Fee (If not paid already)
2)Submission of police clearance certificate for you and all dependent family member (If not already submitted)

I guess its AOR2

how long does it takes after this to get a reply from NDVO on an average?? Please help

Day 59 badly waiting for sa
Feeling unlucky
Can I contect to our mp ?

Have you called them Lookfast? Might be best to do that.....its possible they have posted SA rather than emailed it.

Yes I called them twice but then said Everey thing is fine but we don't know why your sa is not coming so we gonna msg cpc mississuaga office but it has been two days nothing from them

So they have confirmed on call that you have sponsor approval?

In that case, ask them to reconfirm mailing and email address, and request them to resend the email to you with the sponsor approval.
