I found an answer. No AOR2 from Ottawa.

Instead there will be a third line added to the PA side on Ecas.

Oh crazy! I had no idea Ottawa didn't send AOR2. I've been wondering! Thank you! And a third line would be in between "we started processing your application on xxxxxxx" and "medical received"? So technically four lines?

The started processing on the PA side of Ecas is the AOR2. *shrug*

I know it is weird, but at least they process apps really fast there.

Here's an earlier post that should help.

3rd line added in PA ECAS

1. We received XXX XXX's application for permanent residence on June 28, 2016.
2. We started processing XXX XXX's application on August 23, 2016.
3. Medical results have been received.

What does this mean ?

Your VO has your app. :)

How far is the next step ? and what's it ?

Hello Guys, I am a June 16th applicant. I have still not received AOR2 and also my wife's UCI. Both PA and SA shows "in progress" and I got the SA on August 12. What should be my next step and whom should i contact next? Thanks in advance!!

newbee1990, your next step is waiting :) You will get either additional documents requested, or interview, or PPR/DM. How far depends on your VO.

sahil1087, you may or may not get AOR2 at some point. Some VO don't send AOR2. You should wait and keep an eye in case your VO sends request for additional documents, schedule a interview or inform about PPR/DM.

The next steps after your VO has received your app depends largely on your VO. They will check your criminal, go over your relationship proofs, etc. If they don't require any documents, the next thing your would hear from them is the request for PR fee if you haven't paid it already and the request for passport (if they don't request an interview). The length of time this takes is dependent again on which VO your application was sent to. I would suggest checking the thread for your specific VO. :D

Any updates on Ecas would be request for documents or decision made (I think so, anyway). If I'm incorrect or I've missed a step, could someone else please correct me?

Best wishes for a speedy process!!!

Thank you. Yesterday I got AOR2, where it was asking about RPRF Fee. Paid it ans submitted through Case Specific Enquiry to CPC-M and NDVO as well.

newbee1990, you might want to order GCMS notes at some point in near future. However. I don't think it'll say much at first but in my opinion it's still better to get news that nothing has happened yet than not getting anything at all.

I personally I'm in the process of changing my last name to my husband's and will send that via CSE along with some other documents and will order the GCMS notes then to see whether they acknowledge the receipt.

Thanks for the suggestions.

If you change your name to your married name from your maiden name you will be required to obtain a new passport with new name and submit all new forms with married name.

It would be much much easier to just wait until after you land.
