Time is calculated from the date CIC send you an email with your AOR (July 19th), so it's actually not even been a month. Don't despair, we should be getting it in 2 weeks or so

Actually it is from the day they received the application. So it will probably come this week or next week, unless there are any issues.

Are you sure of that? I read elsewhere on the forum that it's calculated from AOR1.


Here is what is says on ECAS for my application:

1. We received your application to sponsor X Y on July 4, 2016.
2. We started processing your application on July 21, 2016.

If you look at the spreadsheet, it's mostly going in order, last week June 21st/22nd applicants got their SA's (I got mine the same day as some of them, even though I am June 16th *when they received the application*).

If you check mycic and the status changes to "in progress" then you should receive your SA in a few days.

But who really knows what goes on behind closed doors, some people never received the first AOR.

Dear Seniors and Experts,

I am in a wired situation and expecting your advise.

I have sent my Application on June 11th 2016. As of now I have received no email from CIC (neither AOR1 nor SA) .

However, my ECAS has been updated and currently saying that, (SA Side) they have received the application on June 11th and started processing on July 28th and (PA Side) Application received on June 11th and Medical result received.

I am also able to link my application on myCIC. On my CIC, the current status of the application is "Eligibility Review - In Progress".

Today, I have called the CIC but unfortunately I got a tough guy who was not helpful at all.

Considering the situation, what do you think?

Today, I called CIC again and came to know that they have approved my Sponsorship Application
They also had sent me an email on August 12th (unfortunately I didn't get it) and sent my spouse's application to the local Visa office.
Today's CIC agent was extremely helpful. She has also confirmed me that she will sent an note to the case processing centre to re-send the email.
Relieved at last ;D ;D ;D

This mean that they are working in your application.

PA status (MyCIC) changed to Review In Progress last Friday (12) in the AM, and I got my SA Monday (15) AM.
