AOR 1: July 5

Yes that's why I'm hoping I also get my SA Today. Lol you gave me some hope.
I tried linking my account but since I have a representative I wasn't able to access it.

I only have access to Ecas at the moment

Oh, that's tough, my cic doesn't really give any extra information really, I'm not sure what the big hype is.
Can your representative check or is that not possible???

ECAS is really my only hope at the moment lol but I agree it's useless. I will be calling them soon and will try to get an update for sure.

The email for AOR 1 was sent directly to my representative too and they had forwarded it to me which was done right away. So I'm guessing they will also receive my SA email first and forward it when they get to it.

Nope, it came (SA) from CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca

The AOR1 came from 'Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca'

Yeah makes sense. I'm sure you could use apps such as Skype to call if it was really urgent.

I haven't heard too much about Cairo but I hope you receive some sort of notification for AOR 2. I know it gets really stressful when emails/letters aren't sent.

I have no idea where my file will end up going. My husband has been in NZ for 6 years but he has an Indian passport. Some people say it will end up in Australia and others say it has to go to the visa office of nationality. According to the cic website it states if the applicant has validity of one year or more in the country they reside the file can be processed in that country. But I guess it also depends on case to case.

Aus is definitely quicker. Hoping it gets sent there Lol I totally get what you mean. I'm here in NZ and we are a day ahead. So instead of the normal Monday to Friday, it's Tuesday to Saturday for me to keep with the Canada times lol.
