Try not to be anxious...the end of the process is close (if the bg check being in process considered to be an indicator)

Has any of you emailed any documents VO requested? Manila immigration asked for an additional documents from me and my spouse and to email them the documents. My only concern is, how would I know if they received the email or not?my husband got the general email after he sent the email to immigration.

Yes, its getting really frustrating right now. Saw couple of May applicant got PPR recently from simile VO like us (Abu Dhabi & Hong-Kong). Hoping for good news for all of us.

Maybe mine was taking long because I have travel history but only one country. I've read here that some take 3-4 weeks without travel history. sigh... I'll let you know

Has anyone had extensive travel history and had their background process get completed really quick (less than a month or two weeks?). Just trying to understand if extensive travel history (all on valid visas) = longer background check processing time? Good to see other VOs moving quicker with June applications, NDVO still seems to lag in that regard.

You know I put in my covering letter that we were not planning to make the move to Canada until April of next year......I wonder if they are not moving too fast because of that. I applied when I did because I had heard that it can take a year ( or more) so didn't want to be held up. This has probably been asked and answered before on here somewhere, but once the PA gets the passport back how long before you must land?

My travel was in Canada so I hope it should be quick, but then 2 weeks and counting, however I see some applicants that even without a travel history, they waited long, so it depends.
