Thanks Kaka, is your ecas updated showing that they've sent you the test invite?

So far not yet... ,but maybe after my test, it may appear..hahahaha. However, i noticed,some applicants who finished their exams here in Calgary last month or two months ago still waiting for D.M status.

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 27, 2016.
We started processing your application on July 6, 2016.

ohhhh, that's frustrating. So if Canada Post deliver my test letter to the wrong box and I never get it, also ecas is not updated. I hope my letter is not lost in the mail. Should I call CIC if I don't get it this week? Others in Calgary seems to be getting their test invite.

I believe there is no warm if you call them, and at least, you will have a piece of mind.They are the best person to asked also.

It's not up to 2 months since your application went "In Process". I don't think they could be holding on to your application unnecessarily. This is because they also depend on information they obtain from other Governmental Agencies like Border Agencies, Police, CRA, etc. I believe sending out test invitation will depend on the completeness and status of the information obtained from those agencies. I will advise you wait a couple of weeks before giving them a shout.

Hello Michelle, they only look at cases more than 12 months old... Just be patient like all of us ;-)

Does test invitation come by email or by post (or by both of them?)
Does it show on ecas? i.e do we see it after logging in?

only by post, that's the reason I'm now worried, our mail guy always gets our mails mixed up with our neighbours. some ppl are saying their ecas doesn't even get updated after they've take the test, so there is really no way to know except waiting.

My application lost in transit, cic said they never received my application, proof of delivery confirm it was delivered on July 5th, preparing another one

Has anybody noticed an update in ECAS today. I think they update it on Tuesdays, right?

It gets effectively updated on Tuesdays, but it may show on your ecas at a later time...
