I'm happy to say that I'm finally landed. I was already in Canada and got my appointment for yesterday. We were the first ones called and the process was less than 10 minutes. I the
n went to get my SIN. Finally, its done! Longest 14 months ever but definitely worth it!!

Congratulations! :)

Thanks! But hopefully it won't take any longer than it has to finalize everything and get COPR. Still anxious, to be honest with you, lol.

Your anxiety is real and understandable...and we have all been there. Those who haven't gone through the process don't understand that basically until you land (and some would say until you get your PR card), one will always feel that this precious gift can be taken away...at the stroke of a pen, with or without intention...I say this and I'm a born Canadian who should have a good understanding of the workings of our government and the rights it endeavors to uphold.

This having been said, try not to worry...it will come :)...but you are not and haven't been alone...

You're words are encouraging and reassuring. Sure enough, at around the same time I read your reply, the PPR + finalization e-mail came! It isn't over just yet, I know, but my spouse and I are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

CoPR was received last week. I suppose it's about time this thread came to a close, as I'm quite sure I'm the last one of the June batch.

Congratulations! Finally! It is still such a relief...

Welcome to Canada!
