June 2015 - Outland applications

Those of you who have gotten emails about missing documents, did you get them at the sponsor's or the applicant's email address?

I really considered putting the same since we have access to each other's but I forgot . Now I'm paranoid that i missed something going to his.

Hello, it's been awhile, so busy, we got SA and told our application forward to the visa office in Kingston.....now it saying online they started processing our application on August 19, 2015...can someone update the spreadsheet for us please.

Well, seems not so fast at my side, though both sides shows In Process, but at PR In Process sub shows only two lines,

1.We received xxxx application for permanent residence on June 15, 2015.
2.Medical results have been received.

Hello I did post earlier but my info wasn't all correct can you please update the following,

My sponsor
1.We received your application to sponsor on June 4, 2015.
2.We started processing your application on July 10, 2015.
3.We sent you correspondence on July 30, 2015 about the decision on your application.

My Application
1.We received application for permanent residence on June 4, 2015.
2.We started processing application on August 10, 2015.

My visa office is the UK.

Mine (Vienna) is saying

1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 9, 2015.
2. We started processing your application on August 13, 2015.

The bottom one showed up about 2-3 days ago. Still no news about my medical though, and haven't been able to find the time to visit the Doctor's office.

No word on my wife's medicals as well on eCas. I emailed them to confirm, and I'll be getting my wife to confirm with the doctor's office.

Any email from CIC mentioning anything else?

see I have the same date of AOR but still no Third Line. Still waiting to see LVO starts PR Application.

@ neggo: nope. Besides AOR1 and SA, I haven't received any e-mail.

You should be getting an e-mail soon then.

Hopefully this thing with our medicals will be resolved relatively quickly without us having to resend the medical receipts.

@neggo: Vienna notoriously didn't send out any AORs in the last year. So I'm not holding my breath. I expect the next communication will either be the COPR or a request for documents/medicals.

Hello Everyone

Yesterday I checked my Ecas and my mailing address disappeared. Now, there is only Home address. Prior to that my ECAS had both home and mailing address which weren't the same.

Anyone experienced this or any idea about it?

I checked ECAS today and both our Sponsorship Application and Permanent Residence Application Status are In Process now. We sent our application on June 25, 2015.

Under Sponsorship Application is:
1. We received your application to sponsor xxxx on June 25, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 30, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on July 29, 2015.

and on Permanent Residence Application is:
1. We received xxxx's application for permanent residence on June 25, 2015.
2. Medical results have been received.

The first and last email we received from CIC is the AOR email on July 30, 2015. Does this mean we have SA?

For our background: my spouse is a Canadian citizen and I'm in the US on a student permit but I'm a citizen of a non-visa exempt country (Philppines). I'm hoping they will send our application to Ottawa (the visa office I assume is for US residents?) because the document checklist I followed is the one for US residents (I've been here in the US for 5+ years). I do have the requirements ready for the Manila/Philippines checklist (original birth & marriage certificate and extra immigration photos) in case they send it to Manila. If they do send it to Manila, should I wait until they ask me for them or should I mail them right away?

Does this mean we have SA?

No. It will say "Decision Made" for the Sponsorship Application section. The fact that the other section is "In Process" doesn't mean much nowadays. Having said that, I think you should've had SA by now, so feel free to call the CIC to ask for an update.

I'm pretty sure our "In Process" change only happened today since I checked last night before going to bed and it was still 'Application Received' on the PR column. Have you received an email about your SA yet?

no yet, our status just change today too. I hope tomorrow i have news because i dont know what means in process for the PR application, if you have any news please let me know, i will do the same
