just now email received from CIC .. Sponsorship approved and file transferred to LVO .. I am happy and sad both >:( because of processing time of london :-\

i have now spoken with 2 CIC agents, and they both emphasized to me that the 28 months shown for the London office is an average.. 1 of them went further and said, "straight-forward cases are nowhere near that long". i don't know what that means in terms of months, and i don't know the specifics of your case, but i was glad to hear that. take a look at the London spreadsheet. their numbers have surprised me. chin up! :)

Just received the SA email! That was fast. We're transferred to Vienna :( the slowest of our options.

Also, they said my medicals were missing, but I'm certain I've included the e-medical receipt. I'll try to get another from the doctor I used.

Well I'm glad you got some good news out of all that! Haha

just check ecas application receive July 2

Haha, I'm actually not too worried. I feel we have a pretty straightforward case and we did everything by the book. I still have almost two years on my work permit, so I should still be able to stay with my wife and daughter the entire time.

my case is also very straight forward but only issue is me and my wife living together in uae.. lets see how London office treat us..

confirmed SA today!!!! our papers was forwArded to manila tho she is working in singapore.. hopefully everything will go fast and smooth!:) goodluck to all of us!

FYI for those of us who chose email correspondence - ECAS will change to show DM before you receive an email. my DM came on Wednesday morning and my email came Thursday afternoon. the email specifically said i wouldn't be getting a letter in the mail. also, when ECAS updated, it showed DM had happened on July 30, but ECAS didn't update until August 5. just a heads-up so you know what to expect!

just a question my partner is working in singapore and the papers was forwarded to manila.. i was just wondering how about the additional docs like police clearance? does she have to go back home and get it? and she already did her upfront medical in singapore.. thanks!

My info on ecas also didn't mention anything about the medicals. Still waiting for my SA. Did you also attach that e-receipt with the picture, UMI, and test info on it? What did they ask you to mail them? Another e-receipt?

Hello guys :D I'm from Morocco and my husband is from Algeria. He is sponsoring me, we sent application at the end of April. here is my timeline:
SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION STATUS:
1-We received your application to sponsor on May 11, 2015.
2-We started processing your application on June 10, 2015.
3-We sent you correspondence on July 6, 2015 about the decision on your application.
PERMANENT RESIDENCE APPLICATION STATUS:
1-We received application for permanent residence on May 11, 2015.
2(Medical results have been received.
The Embassy in my country contacted me from more prooves: prooves my husband lives in Canada, prooves of communication (I sent only 12 pages at first because I thought it was just about sending some samples), more wedding/honeymoon pictures.
I just sent those documents and about 500 pages of communication history to my ambassy around 2 weeks ago. But didn't receive any answer. Do u think the 12 pages I sent before will cause problems? Is any one of u in the same situation?
I wish you all the great of luck !

how do i update the spreadsheet with my SA and PR In Process status?
