I don't think they verify the contents as soon as they receive the application. But as it processes, they will let you know if anything is missing or if they need something else and they will request more documents from you. Usually you have 30 days to send them whatever they requested. They won't just deny your application if something is missing, but it will extend your processing time.

Oh, I see. Good to know. Will we receive an email if anything is required, or is it up to us to periodically check the status?

If they need to request documents from you, they will send you an email asking for it.

any updates??? 55th day today but still no email nor update on cic site for our application. Im hoping that our application will keep on moving as fast as it should be.

They are working on end May applications, within two weeks we will hear some good news inshaAllah and I hope cic will update by tomorrow or day after tomorrow.

Today i have received AOR but it does not show medical information that they have received, in fact there is nothing written about medical information, who else got AOD without medical info on it, please update...

do you underwent medical before you pass your application? if yes, do you contact your chosen medical facility for update regarding the submission of your medical results to cic?.. if not, i suggest you should contact your medical facility for the questions.

In my case it might be that they haven't opened the "Applicant" envelope that contained the receipt/form for my medical yet. And since I didn't have my passport when I did my medical, they might not have been able to find it online.

I also read that a some visa offices/officers don't update ECAS to tell you that they received the medicals. So I'm not too worried (yet).

Medical facility sent the report online to CIC some times in march 2015 and gave me stamp copy as well to include with application and i have included the original copy with my application... do you guys think they have not received or found medical sheet..

in that case, i think maartenvg is right that maybe they didn't read it yet. don't worry they will advice you soon if they didn't really received it.
