You would think they would have some kind of standardized process....Curious!

Standardized process about wether or not to send AORs? I don't think so, they should by any standard send it to everyone, if there was any. Some people even had to call them only to be told that their file has already been transferred to a visa office, and that too without those people being informed about their SA approval, neither through DM nor mail/email. :o

I created a spreadsheet for our group, and added everybody in the thread so far with the information that was available. Feel free to update the dates as you move through the application :)

thank you! :D

HI All,

I sent my application by Canada Post on June 01, 2015 and was delivered on June 03, 2015.

I sent it by Canada Xpress Post and was received by R Mahmood.

Waiting for the AOR. Guys, shall I call CPC to know if they have my file?

Another question is- my spouse lives in India, can I apply for her visitor visa while this file is in process if yes then after how long I should apply for her visitor visa?

Thanks,
Dep

Most AORs are taking around a month, so I wouldn't call if you have confirmation that it was received my R Mahmood. It's there; they'll just take another two weeks or so to send AOR. Hard to be patient, I know!

In April average AOR for the first stage was around 25 days. So you'd have to wait at least a few weeks before worrying. Average sponsorship approval is around 50-60 days in total.

After that it's going to be an even longer wait; some Visa offices don't even send AORs for the second stage. :(

hello there! :)

I noticed sponsor assessment time not updating last update from 26 May 2015. Suppose to update 2 and 9 June but no update and they mentioned assessments update on weekly basis.

Hi!

I'm also a June 2015 outland applicant.

Our application was delivered to CPC last June 5th :)

Hoping my husband will be here soon in Canada. :)
