Just received an email from CIC requesting the final photographs, Updated information chart and photocopies of my passport pages!
Does anybody know how long from when you send this in until when you get you COPR?

Nothing.... but a JULY SA got approved this week... which means the AUGUST SA's are soon to follow!!! I hope he is here for christmas! my christmas GALA, my good friends weeding, my mom's bday... these are all things i hope he is here for!!! I WANT MY HUBBY HERE TO SNUGGLE WITH AT NIGHT while i watch tv!!!

Thanks Dee. We feel well-prepared for the interview and hopefully the fact that we are going there together will help our case. I doubt I'll be allowed to go in with him for the actual interview, but I'll go as far as I can of course! It was a nice, unexpected surprise to hear from them so soon as we weren't expecting to hear anything until the new year...maybe they are on a processing hot streak! You should be able to get it the next day after you see Decision Made if you are in Beijing !

It depends on which VO. Beijing VO issued my COPR two days after they received the requested remedial.

It took 5 or 6 days for COPR to arrive in Canada from Beijing.

Decision made, we recived an email from VO Paris asking for the passport, interview waived. VO Paris is moving fast, we wore expecting all this in February and is way earlyer than we expected. Yaaayyy. ;D

We passed it in at the VAC in Algiers, and they are sending it to Paris.
There is another option to send it by UPS to the Embassy in Algiers, though.

You will get a letter telling you the specifics when they request your passport.
Mine says that you can drop it off in person at the Canadian embassy in Tunisia, or to the VAC in Paris.

Any one out there who's application went to London from the June applicants ??? Just trying to get a feel of how long we will be waiting...

COPR received from Ottawa today! We applied through London, had it processed in Mississauga, and got the COPR from Ottawa. We are taking a trip to NY for the weekend and activating the visa through the Wolf Island ferry office on the way back! Fingers crossed the rest of you get decision made soon.

Got my passport with copr from Beijing VO. Boy it was surprisingly fast processing time i would say. You guys made it much more easier by sharing all your personal experience. thank you so much and good luck to all of you!
