My SA was finally approved the other day! Such an exciting step. Onward to Sydney now and seeing how long that process takes. ;D

Congratulations to all the other applicants that just had theirs approved recently too!

Hi everyone so I have a lil story to tell...
Today my wife got call from cic and been asked for several questions from her about me and main q was they need to chose the visa office for me to process our app for further process. As I am here in norway with my bro since last four months but orignally I have the temporary residence permit of portugal and I have flight for portugal the day after tomorrow. So the agent asked her where I am at the moment so my wife told her that I am in norway and going to portugal on this wednesday. After this my wife asked her how much time will it take to get SA? She said I cant tell but it ill take some more time feeling very down now :-( Oh yeh the agent also said if I am in norway at the moment then my app will go to London office and as my wife told her about my travel to portugal she then said it ill take time for cic to make decision on this!!

Well any idea what is going to happen next with our Application.

It's good that they called your wife, it means they're working on it!

nooo its not my file. its some other applicants in May who applied for an outland application. and the officer returned the file back asking for IMM5285. but that form is an inland spouse questionnaire form. so its their mistake and candidates like us ha e to suffer.
 
They recived our app on 17th june!

Guys, I got my SA this morning. My application has been transferred to NDVO. I'm so happy right now. Wait for next stage begins.

How long does it take to show up on Ecas? Right not it shows "Application received." How long NDVO takes to send AOR2?
 
I noticed that my sponsor details were updated to Decision Made till yesterday is was sayin application received. At the other hand permanent application status showing - application received and medicals received so its means that the SA which i got the decision made is for that only. even though it was approved on August 8. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can tell me what this means.... ? As also they say we sent tou letter already on 8 aug of decision made.

yes, that means a decision has been made on the sponsor's eligibility, and the applicant's file has been transferred. that's pretty much the standard formatting for the info to be entered into ECAS. if you did not receive an email with the approval, then it was probably sent by regular mail. the applicant's side will not change until the visa office changes it to "in process".

I got email already on 8th aug

App. Received at CIC on June 17th.
