your local office is Mississauga. What about Scarborough office, which one is faster?

In my opinion it is case to case. From what I see is June and Mississauga both are at par.

according to ecase explanation part, In process means file has been sent to local visa office.

Application In Process
Your file has been sent to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) office closest to your home for processing.

The CIC office will complete the necessary steps for a citizenship judge to make a decision on your application. If additional information or documents are needed, the CIC office will contact you.

so after sending to local office how long they take for test?

3-4 mos. average as of 2014. You'll have the test invite 1mo. prior to scheduled date.

My wife and son got test invitation within 2 month from the eCAS status In Process. Test was scheduled with two weeks notice and had oath letter handed after the test. Scarborough might be faster than other office in recent days followed by Mississauga.

June applicants like me might see test dates sometime in Feb or March.. hopefully..

What would be the test format, MCQs?
and can we prepare from any website like apnatoronto.com other that the book?

Please included "Confirmation Of Permanent Residence" in Original in your list

Basically, whichever documents you have provided during your application submission, you need to take those in original.

Plus take as much as possible documents if you can. Being self-employed, I took my contracts copies, incorporation documents which they did not ask though

They would ask more in details if you have in/out Canada visits and verify accordingly the passports stamps & the residence calculator sheet dates.

Good Luck with your test!
