I passed the test today! & Oath Invitation given out on the Spot!!!! I take the oath on the Dec 9, 2014 which is a week from today.

So the rumours are true: 1. Mississauga office is probably fastest 2. Oath letter is most likely given to the P.M. test takers (my test was at 12:45 p.m. )

CIC has speeded up the whole process, my case took a little over 5 months from beginning to the end. Good luck to everyone else.

Test was easy. It wasn't too difficult. We are not supposed to share the questions but all I can say is read the book and there are bunch of websites that help you practice. They help!

But there weren't too many dates in my test ;)

Interview was smooth, as I had the CBSA report with me. The interviewer asked if she could keep my copy, so its helpful if you got it. Interviewer verified my , travel, work history n stuff and told me to wait for letter in mail.

I reached there 7:30 am, if you are taking it at Glenn Erin Mississauga office. Then go at the back of the building, thats where the test is. It took me till 10:30 am to be out of the office - including test and interview.

Target to reach the office by 7:30 am as the traffic could be ugly sometimes...

Best of luck!

I remember they mentioned in the form not to order CBSA report! thats weird they take yours .. I have a report which is missing the last month and a half as I order it prior to applying. Do you think this should be okay?

Thanks. It was too short notice for my department to make changes to an exam happening next week. I managed to talk to a nice officer in the Scarborough office just now, and she says they will try to reschedule me for January. Fingers crossed.

Hi - I got scheduled for the same test date/location and also need to reschedule, but can't find a phone number for Scarborough (and the CIC info line said there were no agents available and hung up on me!).

Can you provide the number you called?

It is weird only P.M test takers take the oath right away .. what kind of luck is that! the process should be consistent.

CBSA report is the only reason test/interview went smoothly cuz it VERIFIES all entry dates!!!
so everybody should order it and make sure it covers the 4 year period indicated in your application!!!!!!!
btw, they took mine as well.

Thanks for your quick response. I have mailed them.

Interesting thing is I called the general CIC line and was told that the protocol is just that I will be absent at the test, they put my name on a second list/rescheduling list, and I'll get that invitation sometime in the future. They can't do anything else for me.

After some research on google, I found a directory with Scarborough CIC agent phone numbers and after a few calls, I got an immigration officer. She was really nice, wished me luck in my law school exams, and made a note on my file to reschedule me for January. I HOPE I'm rescheduled for next month! I'll update the group when I hear back. Thanks again.

good luck to your LSAT !!!

5 week from start to finish. if u expect ur test date next jan, u should order it now

I will .. I have one which is missing last 6 weeks which can be useful as well incase I didnt get it on time .. I am surprised they are taking it from people as in it mentioned in the Citizenship application clearly not to order one!!
