I just called CIC and they said that my file has been transferred to the local office. I am in downtown Toronto and they transferred my file to the Mississauga office.

No update on ecas, everything is still the same there and received line is still there.

Hi,

I forgot to ask a question. The reason I called CIC was to ask if I could send additional documents that support my application. One of the documents is my entry and exit history report from Dubai as I used to live there and I know that Middle Eastern applicants receive extra scrutiny from CIC officers particularly people who lived in the Gulf like myself. I was also going to include my travel history report for the US as some of the stamps on my passport are not clear or missing.

The officer said that it is up to me if I want to send these documents and if I do I should send them to the Mississauga office as that's where my file has been transferred to. My question is: do you think I should send these documents now or should I wait to hear from CIC? I am hoping not to receive an RQ, so I am thinking that perhaps sending these documents will help! Any thoughts?

My application received June 30. I have not got any update in ECAS. Do I need call them? If so, what kind of information that I need provide. Thanks!

i think that people who received the AOR, their files transferred to the local office. this is the only explanation.

While most of June applicants have an active ECAS, there r still some who havent heard anything. I would like to say that if it has reached the 90 marks and CIC call centre still insists they didnt receive any applications, file another one. You guys r always welcome to come here to seek help.

my 2 cent is : if u submitted everything CIC required and believe that you have a straightforward case, u shouldnt be worried about providing more documents unless they sent u a letter for sth specific, like fingerprint.

Appication,receiverd on 13 June and still not update!!!!!!
Email received from CIC 28 august they say that they confiremd the reception of my application and they will verifiey and If they need more informations they contact me......right now still nothing
