I think you are right.... I have already prepared a 2nd one and kept it ready to mail...........But this is really insane....all my 3 months of waiting time has gone waste...


In the meantime, I have contacted my local MP to seek his assistance in this matter......

ECAS status mention they have sent letter of acknowledgement and study book on 02 Jun 2014. However, I did not receive any thing yet.

Any recommendation on what and when can I expect the next step of the process?

Now this is what I'm speculating...

Based on Sapguru's timeline, its about 3 months approx from May 27th submission date.. In my case, submission date was June 2nd.

So do you guys think I have some chance???

Sapguru - While you were waiting did you call CIC agent? If yes, what did they tell you? In my case when I called, I got 2 answers. One application could have been lost, second file returned..

HA HA HA, ok, i called cic to ask about my application and the employee treated me really bad. anyway, after may be 15 minutes from useless talking, he said that they still working in my file and it is not sent to the local office. i doubt what he said.

checking mailbox or ECAS everyday is better than calling CIC. need the actual letter to attend the test anyway.
