Another item of note is, people who post status in forums are a small number since the number of applicants per month might run in to thousands.
The number of people posting in forum would be a sample and not everyone might be updating status as well.

At this point based on the sample info available from end of may and for month of June a significant % shows that their case is yet to be opened.

so the option for now is to wait for 2 more weeks to see how things progress.

less than 0.5% of applicant participate in the forum so not a very good sample size but it does give u a sense of whats going on. dont worry too much, as long as the applications arent returned, it will be processed sooner or later.

my ecas shows no results,i did call CIC this week and they informed me that they cannot as well see the application in the system which usually means that the application is not yet opened for processing.

The weird thing about my application is I could login ECAS to see my complete PR app at the end of July for 1 day. That should suggest that they at least touched my application, right?

cant wait for sunday when CIC update ECAS!!! look forward to hear the june 30 applicants sharing their good news. for those whose ECAS still not active, dont worry too much yet and it will be soon. if CIC found your case uncompleted, they would have sent back your application already.

Have you checked your mail box? It could be returned as incomplete.

I just spoke with CIC Agent now and the agent is very nice and checked my status in computer and said it shows in process and received on 23rd of June , And he said I should get acknowledgement in 1 month.

But I am not able to see any update on ecas yet. I am from Brampton.

I just spoke with CIC Agent now and the agent is very nice and checked my status in computer and said it shows in process and received on 23rd of June , And he said I should get acknowledgement in 1 month.

But I am not able to see any update on ecas yet. I am from Brampton.

I applied for citinzehsip on June 2nd, received June 4th, In Procress July 31st, AOR received August 22.

Hopefully the test date will come soon!

thats weird cuz they would usually tell u the date, but anyways, u should see your ECAS either sunday or sometime next week. all good.

Nice to hear that- Hopefully i will get mine by next week. In process 06th August. I have read the book online already and i think its not tough. Based on the forum, March applicants are getting test date- so i guess if i fall into routine processing and not fast processing, i shud expect test around December- just being optimistic.

I algo got my AOR and discover canada booklet today, August 22th!! I sent the application June 16th, they received it June 20th, and they started processing it August 14th.
