My application was received on 9th. E-cas hasn't been updated yet.
I tried to call CIC but I can't talk to an agent due to high volume of calls. I started to be nervous. All the applications go to the same place and they supposed to open them in time order..I don't get why some people see the ecas update and some don't.

Thank you everyone- its a relief for sure- now will just wait for the book which may take 1.5 to 2 mths.

I called CIC yesterday and they told me they are opening first week of june and they told me i should wait 1-2 weeks. They did not help much. However, my perception is that even though it goes one place- they may assign to different officers- so it depends on when the officer opens the file. Don't worry, you should get a reply by next week but i totally understand how u r feeling right now.
