My special thanks to "u4g5" & "om saif" for keeping this forum alive all the time.
I also thank the person who advised us to send "Case Enquiry" through CIC site which helped my application to get on track as I had initial glitches with my application status and Helpdesk was not able to trace my file, was about to send my second application after initial 3 months waiting.
Anyways, it was Great Effort indeed by all of us here.
Wish you all the best and Good Luck for your future endeavours.

Well, we were there initially for a week in AB and during that stay we completed all our regular formalities(SIN, AB Healthcard, Bank A/C opening, etc) and moved to ON.canalberta said:Hi email2kale, so your story also tells that AINP can move across Canada with out restrictions. Would you share if it's fine when you moved out of Alberta to Ontario.
Congraz, Laika. U should be the first juners graduating from MTL office.laika said:Hello all,
I did my test today in the Montréal office. I got 19/20. You should really study for the exam. There were some stricky questions! and several True/False questions.
The immigration agent had all the exits I had made out of Canada. She questioned me about one (the only one) that was not done from the Montréal airport.
She asked me about my job, studies, family, where I live, how long had I been in canada.
At the end she said she had approuved my file and that the Oath ceremony takes place 2-4 months after the exam.
No mention of RQ.
Good luck to all!

Timha said:I had my test today (mtl) .Everything went well except whe the agent started reviewing the trips I made. She was confused with the number and dates, and asked me to bring her colored copies of my passports. When I came back with the copies she told me that she will review them and see if she can take a decision. My ecase status is still on application recieved.
Congrats Laras!! I totally agree with you regarding the test preparations and the type of questions that were asked. And also regarding CBSA report, have it if you have many # of travels in your passport.laras said:Hi Dear Juneys,
Sorry I have been out of this forum for some time, but I feel I want to share my experience to benefit others.
I got the date for the Citizenship test from Scarborough test office on December 30. The exam was today Jan 20 @ 8.15am.
I scored 19/20, I don't even know which question I answered wrong.
Just to let you know, the question set I got is not so easy. Its easy if you know the book inside out. Its not the questions that are tough, they are just twisted, and you should have the confidence to answer it by reading the book over and over again along with online tests.
I would recommend all to read the book backside front, topside down, sentence for sentence. Something really helped me is listening to the audio file over and over again- on the subway, grocery shopping, everywhere I went.
Finally the questions in the exam, even when twisted, the book was reading back the answers to me in my mind.
I dressed the part for the interview, but everyone dressed relaxed. I was one of the last ones to be interviewed.
The officers asked everyone for their ids, COPR, etc, what they do, about their travel etc.
I kept my docs ready, but the officer, she never asked me any docs.
Only thing, I had a lot of travel dates, and she asked me about a few trips, but I had the stamps for it. Also a tip, if you could arrange any CBSA, CBP reports, please do so.
Treat this as a one time opportunity, as if your life depended on it.
Also I noticed, most of the test takers were single applicants, or they have families, but applied individually.
They gave everone a test invite (pink paper), including me for Jan 29 on the spot.
My guess is all the applicants were clear cases.
I feel the 3 officers, were very kind and on our side, to get us to the oath.
I wish you all well, and speedy Oaths. I will be around!!
Waiting for all Juneys at the finish line.
Sincerely ,
Laras
I also don't recall of any pink letter given to us.laika said:Hello Laras,
I did my exam, and met the immigration agent. Once I finish meeting with the agent. I left. I did not get any pink lettre!! Did I leave too early?
Anyways Congrats once again! may be a new process.. :laras said:Dear laika,
Do not worry. You did nothing wrong. Congratulations on passing the test!! Our timelines have been similar from the beginning.
My location is Scarborough and yours is Montreal.
In today morning's test batch, all the applicants had clear cases (I believe), and whoever passed the test, got test invite (pink paper).
In fact they mentioned about getting Oath invite before the test began. So I think our batch was pre-planned based on clear paperwork (my guess).
laika, your office is Montreal, and procedures are different. All the best soon for your test invite in the mail.
