Hello everyone
My husband is on PGWP and applied for me (spouse) for OWP and TRV for our child. Made online application on june 6th. It was done through lawyer from Canada. But no update still from cic. Once i contacted call center it was told that application is transferred to Abu dhabi embassy as we live in Abu dhabi. The processing time in Abu dhabi is 4 to 6months. Is there anybody from UAE?
If yes pls share your timeline..

Dont worry ,it just 18 to 19 days, I applied 24 of may and I received medical 23 july ,usually it take one to 2 month ,chandigarh consulate is very busy for student visa for september batch . According to me U will get your result in august.

Hi friends because I am like a kind of worried...just want to know that is it a positive sign if they don't give the result right away ...I mean does that mean there as more chances of approval because they are taking time for review...APNE and sunny.bc..did u ever face a rejection before or is this your first attempt

I am a student in Canada ...so I applied for my husband's owp ...If SOWP means Spouse's open work permit then yer...I applied for SOWP

My husband is in India...I am in Canada...we applied through a lawyer in Canada but case will be processed through India only

so its a sowp visa ,again no need to worry,we submitted our application on 6th of june and still waiting, fingers crossed and good luck for you
