Hi I'm June applicant still waiting for MR, my timelines are application filed June 27th 2014 and AOR on August 12th 2014 no communication from CIC since then, I guess it's under secondary review I ordered GCMS notes hopefully everything should be alright.

My application received to CIC on June 20th, 2014 but still didn't receive request for my medicals. I have applied for GCM on March 09th and received GCM response on 10th April and it is saying "Letter does not provide information regarding applicant's duties and functions with in the company, Review required by officer". Please guide me what to do now? I have requested my employer to provide the letter but they are unable to provide the letter as per organization policies. I didn't see either any further update from CIC or email request to submit any document. Please advice me the best proceed further here.

I am in the same situation. just wait until july end. application filled in April are getting MR whose application are in second review. if CIC need anything they will send the query. and then you can respond.

I am a June 9 applicant and received GCMS report today. It says "Letter does NOT provide information regarding applicant's duties and functions with in the company". Recommendation: Review required by officer. No due date mentioned under 'Notes' section, Label says "Eligibility". My colleague submitted the same letter as mine, but he got his PR. I will wait for the CIC communication.

Just for my curiosity to know, is this okay to send self explanation letter with current roles and responsibilities and email response given by HR manager for not providing a letter with this ask please?

I am just scaring as I didn't hear anything back yet on my application. Please advice.

Not a bad thought. I also would include reference letters from my colleagues and get them notarized, before sending them.

Application received June 3 2014. AOR-Mid July, RCMP request - Jan 29th and nothing since.
