Quick question, yung PPR ba from CEM naggaling via email kung naka indicate sa application mo na via email ang correspondence?

Yes, via email ang correspondence nila kung naglagay ang sponsor at sponsored spouse ng email address. In my son's case, yung sponsored spouse (Principal Applicant) ang nakareceived ng PPR notice.

Hindi po mandatory to attend COA only PDOS and GCP ang mandatory...

Ako nakatanggap din ng email na ganyan, di ba PDOS din yun? Nakalagay PreDeparture Seminar kaya lang di pa nman ako PPR, hinihinge nila request letter from embassy na PPR.

Magkaiba ang COA at PDOS though almost pareho ang layunin nila, pre-departure orientation. Below is a simplified comparison.

COA vs PDOS
pre departure orientation pre departure orientation
optional mandatory
no registration fee (funded by Canadian Govt.) with registration fee (Philippines' Govt)

Bottomline, kailangan umattend sa PDOS pero maganda ring maka attend sa COA kung di pa hapit sa oras dahil marami ring matututunan tungkol sa bagong kulturang aabutan nyo dito sa Canada.

Opo automated po yan. Kasi normal processing time for Philippines is 15 months, pag check nila na di kapa nag 15 months automated ang e rereply nila. Hintay hintay lang po darating din yan. Ako nga kaka DM lang din last January 29, 2015.

Natapos din ang paghihintay, visa received na wife ng anak ko si "Superhansel". Happy na rin ako since ako nagfinalized ng documents nila kasama na rin pagme-mail sa Canada Post. Di pa yata ako na-reimbursed ;D. Mistulang stage mother ang papel ko . Pero ako ang pinakahappy, aside from him and his wife. Thank you, Lord!

Wag masyado mag worry, PPR ka na, malapit na yan. Im sure dadating din yan sa inyo. Alam nyo naman more or less kung ok yung mga sinubmit nyong docs, siguro yung VO panay lang titig sa papel nyo sa ngayon. Pero hindi puedeng huminto doon, dapat gumalaw yun kasi kailangan meron silang maaccomplish sa mga hawak nilang applicants.

Dalangin ko sana nga umusad na lahat ng applications para happy lahat
