Hey wen did u do your medical and wen did the cic tell u to Dp the sputum test did they send u an email or wat plz share....

Hello tzr, I did mine last 18Sept then phone them 23Sept. No there was no information coming from CIC. So I went to the hospital where they asked me to, and it was discussed to me. I was asking if I could do a re-take as second opinion but they said, the first one is where they are going to rely. So no use at all. And it cost another Php2,750 or Php2,250

@Bravia, didnt st.luke's told you after u have done ur medical the result or review of ur xray on dat day? Kc when I did my medical at ermita, after d PE, i waited at d information cnter, then d nurse checked all my results on their database including d xray and said normal nmn daw lahat, except for d blood test, i will have to wait 2days for d result, if d cla tumawag dat means ok na lahat ng result ng medical.

gorgeousney27, lucky you at okay lahat ng sayo. On my case hindi ganon ang nangyari. And here's the catch, lahat kami (4) na magkakasabay sa global nagpa medical is nagkitakita sa Ermita. All subject for sputum and lahat is sa upper left position daw. What a coincidence! I asked the nurse if they could ask global to check the machine, just in case para sa mga susunod na applicants. Anyway, ayun nga.

Exactly! I was in Europe for 4yrs and then 5months in Canada, then I went here to apply for TWP kasi nag expire yung visa ko ng hindi ko napa extend as per advised din namn ng immigration consultant ko that time. Anyway I haven't informed Global about it, just a caution, para wag na dumami if me foreign materials lang pala ang machine. Though I raised my concern sa ERmita. I hope they would do some action about it.

Thanks Bravia but the hospital in India didn't tell me abt the report they said if there is any problem they will inform me within few days....

26 September 2013 - Canada’s Foreign Service Officers Reach Tentative Agreement with Federal Government
The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers is pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached with the Treasury Board of Canada to end our six-month labour dispute.

“PAFSO is satisfied with this deal,” said PAFSO President Tim Edwards.“This agreement was reached through compromises on both sides,” continued Edwards. “We salute the spirit of constructive engagement which our employer brought to our latest discussions. This deal is a victory for free and fair bargaining in the federal public service.”

With the signing of this tentative agreement PAFSO has ordered an immediate suspension of all strike measures and work to rule. The agreement requires ratification by the PAFSO membership and approval by the full Treasury Board. PAFSO’s Executive Committee and Treasury Board president Tony Clement have agreed to recommend acceptance of the offer.

“We are pleased that the Government has recognized the tremendous value and dedication which Foreign Service Officers provide to Canadians and their elected representatives,” said Edwards. “It has been a hard-fought battle and I would like to salute the unity, resolve, and stamina of our members in securing a fair and equitable deal. We’re excited to get back to doing the work we love, promoting and protecting Canada’s values and interests abroad.”

The 1,350 Foreign Service Officers have been without a contract since July 1, 2011 and in a legal strike position since April 2, 2013. This agreement concludes the longest federal public service strike since the introduction of collective bargaining in 1967.
