So it's confirmed!! I am approved as a sponsor!!

I called them today, and talked to a very nice lady - Claudia. I got approved on July 15th, and they sent me the letter on July 16th. So now I am waiting to receive the letter in the mail

Thank you all for your support and good thoughts.

Now to focus on my exam week

Ontario is my province in law . My medical was done on 20 April 2013. I am expecting to get my SA today inshaAllah..

I updated the list. I really hope you will. If you don't, remember there is always the regular mail, so don't panic. You are at 32 days already, so I am sure a decision will be made soon (or already has been made)

Yes, got an acknowledgment on July 15, 2013 that they have received the application

So after how many days after file receiving, your ecas was updated?

It was updated to Decision Made on July 19th. So that's 4 days after I got approved as a sponsor. However, even now, if I click on the underlined "Decision made" it still says "application received" and nothing else. Based on this, you should wait until the 26th. If you don't hear anything by the end of this week, call them on Monday. That's what I did and she confirmed that I was approved. Best of luck!
