well this definitely gives me a little bit of hope! Our app is from the states as well and office CPP-Ottawa but I've gotten no responses its been way too long, and CPP needs to get on it!

I just got this today when I checked my status.

"A decision has been made on (MY NAME)'s application. The office will contact (MY NAME) concerning this decision."

How long does it take now? To get a reply? Paris Embassy.

Since you are from a visa waiver country...i suppose you get the Confirmation Of Permament Residency letter right? Basically....get ready to land soon ..n congrats!

Do I have to go right away because my spouse will be coming to me in Europe for a few extra months to stay before I take off.

They do normally a time frame in which you are supposed to land...should be mentioned in the letter they will be sending you.....usually its before your medicals expire but seeing that yours already has as per your time line, they must have extended it for you...so hopefully you'll have enough time.

When is your spouse expected? If its much later than by when you have to complete your landing, i suggest you take a trip to canada and complete your landing formalities within that time frame.

I'm really hoping real hard to hear something by this month......7 months and still nothing....really getting to me now! :/

Alright I was hoping to stay here till late June some time in July.

Because she will be coming here and we will go visit her family also in Europe and spend about a month there.
