I have re-submit on July 3rd, Got AOR on 20th July!!

Now By the grace of Almighty ALLAH i got SA Today.

Try to check you eCas and it will be under PR Application Status. As for my case I have SA last July 19 and on the letter the PR application was send on my husbands' VO when I check my eCas under PR the status was Application Received.

Oh I am so happy for you! Thank God everything turned out right! Do you wanna stay on June applicants or move to July - since you're a July applicant now and you might benefit from that timeline more... It's up to you Best of luck from now on too!!

They changed the layout of their website It looks nice. However, no news on the VO. We haven't received a new AOR yet.

I think that every one from June apps now is going to the dull pahse ( VO phase )

they working on applications received on July 2nd

so does this mean we should already have our sponsorship approval? Neither of us have gotten an email stating it. My wife is from Canada. Our application was received June 28th. Our stuff went north from the States yesterday. She is going back today. I am left back home in the states until I can get a work permit. This stinks.. I miss her and my lil dog already!

I am not sure what other info you need.

It was a spousal sponsor. I believe that means I also applied for PR and a Work Permit. I have been lurking around for a few days. I'm not sure what all the abbreviations mean that you guys use. We sent in our application June 20th. On the website it says our application was received on June 28th. I did my physical in March, on the 21st I believe. It's been over 29 days. Should I make a call?

I am not sure it your case might be similar, but just wanted to let you know that my husband received a letter from CIC saying our application was sent to the LA VO for processing. We were really confused and worried about it because we were told it was in Ottawa when we called to find out about SA status at the beginning of July and also in their email reply which came after we finally got through to someone on the phone. The letter was dated June 17 (date in ECAS for decision made- stage 1) but was postmarked on July 18.

Of course I had just sent in my original FBI cert (unknowingly sent third party channeler report with app) days before we got the letter so I'm really panicking at this point! I emailed CPP-O yesterday to ask where it was actually being processed and they just responded that it is indeed at CPP-O and they got and attached the documents I sent. I also got the response at 11:07pm which I thought was odd. Maybe they are putting in some OT now to make up for the strike? Wishful thinking maybe?

For what it's worth, you may want to shoot them an email and see if your app is really in LA or if someone over there thought it would be fun to send out a bunch of wrong letters and watch us squirm

From what I have read on the forum, it seems like some people have gotten away with it but more than likely they will ask for an original. I would just get it done and send it to CIC so you don't get delayed later on. I included a cover letter explaining it was needed for immigration and wrote "urgent" and the date I "needed" by on the outside of the envelope and it took about 4 weeks.
