Congrats! hoping that ours will be next....Johnboy said:hoorayjust received COPR at my 'representative'
I'm guessing this would have been sorted out months ago, except for some confusion over the RPRF receipt.
Now I have a couple of months to land before my passport expires.
I hope that others on this thread, who are still waiting, get to hear some good news very very soon.
Is it fine if I will email CIC for follow up of our application since it is more than 13 months now and ask the cause of delay? I'm afrraid because the very recent that I sent was last June 27 and they reply to my email July 8, 2014. Thanksmilleth082002 said:Congrats! hoping that ours will be next....
After my last email last June 27, they reply july 8 then july 12 ECAS change to medical received after that no action from them. They replied in email that our application is in queque and now for review by officer, no further action requires in my end at present time and wait. What did they say about your email inquiry? Is it possible to inquire again in email after 13 months to ask the cause of delay in our application so we will know the reason for waiting time? Please need your advice.Johnboy said:Did you email CIC? It only took 3 days or so for them to respond to the inquiry about my application; after the 13 month had elapsed.
Wow! what a great help for your reply, everyday we are checking our ECAS day & night and waiting and waiting. I will wait till this Friday if no changes in ECAS then I will email them by end of Friday night. Thank you so much because I'm scared that if I'm going to make a follow again by email our application will be affected. Since 13 months elapse, as you said I can make a follow up. Again, thank you.Johnboy said:There was no email reply as such. Emailed early on 11th, received CoPR on 18th. RPRF was paid 3 1/2 months ago. They just needed a prod to get things going again. I think they misplaced the RPRF receipt.
But since the 13 months is passed for you, I think it legitimate for you to follow up with a further inquiry. Simple state that the 'stated normal processing time' has elapsed and that all requirements have been met (to your understanding). Ask them to advise on the present status of the application.
Very quiet on this thread. Hang in there.milleth082002 said:Any June 2013 still waiting for PPR? I'm still waiting, ECAS : medical received July 12, 2014.
Yes! I used the tool for follow up. They replied as what is just indicated in Ecas medical received and not stated the cause of delay and said the we can follow up by Jan 2015. It was so surprising that we need to follow up by Jan 2015. We went to our MP and according to the MP rep, CIC is almost complete with our application and finalizing the only the criminality.Johnboy said:Very quiet on this thread. Hang in there.
Did you send the email inquiry? I really do believe that CIC need to be chased. I had a set of notes overlap the time I received my CoPR. From reading them it would appear that even though the RPRF was paid, it took them over a month to enter it into the system, and then it just sat there for another 3 months. I'm sure that if I had not emailed after 13 months had elapsed, then I would still be waiting.
The service agreement is 80% of cases processed within 13 months. After this time, you are fully entitled to contact them to discover what the delays are.
