mine is more than 2 months now …permit will get expire soon …don't know what to do

yup same as u ..WP expires in 2 weeks, will apply for extension during the weekend .. no worries there r many who r in the same boat

everyday with new hopes……don't understand how they work ….people who applied later did there medical after me are getting PPR …
and we are waiting…there is no communication if they want any other documents…if they don't then why is this delay…all the PCC is submitted …as per them we are eligible…paid fees… did medical which dosnt has any problem..but still ..so frustrating

Thanks Boyzone. Another hurdle of waiting is the visa stamping outside canada, u don't know when are they gonna respond to the request. But, that's ok, it's gonna be a short wait compared to waiting for 11months of getting approved.

ya, not sure how the process works. I checked my GCMS notes on Apr 15 and again today and don't see anything changed in a month time. looks like they didn't even touch my application till May 1 after Feb 24.

But they do have a Due Date for specific stages in the GCMS notes right? At least mine has.

yes, it has. it says exact AOR date with year as 2014 for me.

I spoke with my Medical Office at least several times; they, claim that medicals were forwarded to CIC 2 month ago. However, GCMS notes showed that medical assessment is still in progress 0_o
ECAS status is In Progress.

So I have a few questions:
1. how to 100% prove that Medical Office send data to CIC?
2. What does my medical records mean? One note sad In Progress -other Received in eMed; really confused about meaning behind this statuses
3. Is there any way to contact office of CIC in Ottawa? They do not response to my emails

For me also it shows like below, I did upfront
IME Status: Not Started
Reason for Closure: Received in eMed

As well, does your ECAS shows medical received? Mine not yet

ECAS sad that medicals in process; also, all records in file dated February 2014
I believe there are 2 possible reasons:
1. med office did not sent medicals
or
2. cic did not touch case for more than a month thus case is in "abandoned" status 0_o

How come your ECAS shows medical in progress?? it may be GCMS notes you mean to say ??
Normally, ECAS shows medical received only.
