Whats the duration for which the PR visa is issued, it has been mentioned visa would be mentioned only till PP expiry date. should i go for PR renewal after that??

Can't really say, its different for every case. After ecas showed Medical results received...I got PPR 3 days after.

Its one year from your medical received and its single entry visa so you do not have to renew it. Incase of travel you have to use PR card instead of visa.

Got confirmation from Mascarenhas' office that my medical results were uploaded on the 1st. Bit of a wait, but as long as they came back okay I suppose I don't mind. Here's hoping we can get the CoPR through soon!

I was planning to land at Niagara, but then shortly after I have to go back to England for a week. I've seen a bunch of people say there's a problem with traveling outside of Canada before you get your PR card, but most of that seems to be talking about visas and travel documents, which I think as a British citizen I'm exempt from. Anyone able to confirm that? I might have to call up CIC and check, but we all know how frustrating that can be.

As long as you saw your application in process you will be fine.

Happy to share that my medical result has been sent to CIC last march 4, and I just sent addtl documents to cpc ottawa too. Hoping for a good way to end the month of March!
