You don't need to send your original birth certificate. Translated copies with an affidavit are fine.

so just for clarification, I need to send these three documents...

Notary Photocopy of the original birth certicate
Notary attested photocopy of the translate bith certificate
Original Affidavit.....

Hi all,

Excited (and nervious!!) to say that I sent in my CEC application on Monday the 10th via Canada Post courier, and it was recieved on the 13th!! If I can get added to that list that would be great, fantastic work on that btw.

So, am I right in saying that if all goes well, I should recieve my AOR in about 6 weeks time, which is what I need to get a bridging visa further down the road? Is my application then sent to Ottawa for processing, or does it stay in Sydney? And I know there are so many threads about the PAFSO strike, but does anyone know exactly how this will effect us who have applied for CEC at the Sydney, NS office??

Can anyone help me get a 2nd opinion on this? I am asking my manager to sign my reference letter soon. Here's what I've got for the job duties. I think i'm 4163 NOC code.

• Analyze sales, demographic and market share data attained through customer surveys (point of sale, PMB data, etc.) indicating consumer habits/preferences in the retail industry.

You should be fine. Also in CEC, they will concentrate more on the Experience than trying to validate you for the NOC code like in FSW stream.
