Hello everyone, I am planning to send my application by the end of June. I have a couple of questions:.

1. How many letters I need from my employer. Do I need just one letter of support?
2. Do I need to apply police clearance certificate from Canada other than my home country? I have been living in Canada for three years now.....

Much appreciate your help!

Thanks

Just one with job duties and responsibilities, annual pay, no of hours in week, benefits, your full name, duration of employment, Supervisor contact details, company letter head, fax no, website
2. Do I need to apply police clearance certificate from Canada other than my home country? I have been living in Canada for three years now.....

You need only from home country and other countries where you lived more then 6 months....
no need of Canada

Much appreciate your help!

Thanks

Hey friends!

My application - myself and my common-law spouse - went out yesterday on the 13th! Hopefully should arrive by Monday. Here's hoping for plain sailing! We needs those bridging/spousal temporary permits fairly quickly once we get the AOR!

My job's a little complicated to describe (I provide research support in the broadcast copyright industry) so I'm a bit nervous about the whole NOC code thing. I have a good reference which ties it fairly directly to 1254, my preferred NOC code, but of course these things are totally ambiguous (e-mailing HRSDC to ask for an opinion, they thought I was a sound engineer for some reason). Hoping it lands on the desk of someone understanding!

Hello all,
Please help me to understand the IELTS /language requirement for CEC application.
I am planning to apply this month however, my IELTS results are not up to the mark, see below

Listening Reading Writing Speaking
7.5 7 5.5 6.5

Would CEC accept this kind of score, I belong to NOC, (A) 2113.
I believe I need at least 6 band of score at all the levels, would CEC consider my application if I apply with this score??

Thanks

You need a minimum of 6 bands in all the four sections of the exam

I suggest retaking the test. They will send your application back if your IELTS scores are missing.

Hey guys..... another couple of questions on filling the application

1. do I need to send the original letter of reference from the employer or just a photocopy?
2. Do I need to get all the photocopies notarized before I send it or just the birth certificate?

Thanks

You can send a copy, although CIC might request the original later on.

Photocopies don't need to be notarized if the originals are in English.

Thanks
