Hi,

Category........: CEC
Visa Office......: Sydney
NOC Code......: 2171
App. Received.......: 07-06-2013
AOR Received.: 26-07-2013
Ielts-Yes
Documents not submitted- Home Country PCC

I have been working in the NOC 2171 position since April 2011 until Feb 2013. I submitted pay stubs and Tax papers until 2012
CIC called me on 11 feb 2014 from an Unknown number and I couldnt receive the call. Then CIC officer called my employer and asked questions like how many employees he has in his company and asked since when i am working for him, he couldnt answer when i started but he said I worked for him until feb 2013 which like over 1.5 years. My employer said the officer sounded satisfied with my employer's responses. The officer also asked if i had any other number on which he could reach me. He called me the next day and i missed the call again.

Now the officer knows that I am not working since last 1 year and he could also not reach me on my number, will it be a problem? I havent provided my home country police clearance certificate as yet either. I was just waiting for them to request the document but i have not heard anything from them as yet.

I talked to my consultant who applied on behalf of me and he said it is a good sign that the officer called, it shows that my file is in the process and if they had a talk with my employer CIC might not even need to talk to me.

I see people whos application was received much later than mine is getting medical request. I am worried now.

Hey, a bunch of us July applicants also received this email and we have all submitted home country police certificates under the 3 month validity. The email seems to be generic and a mistake. A few people have emailed CIC informing them that they have already included it so we will see what happens...

same thing with me, they asked for my PCC when in fact I already sent it Dec last year, but it got me worried coz it's going to expire on april 2014, so I applied for a new one just in case they would ask for the latest copy.

I got PCC request on feb. 13th, day after I got my MR. My agency emailed CPP already about the police clearance that we submitted last year, still waiting gor their reply though.

Overall experience was good. No questions from doctor. Blood and Urine test , X-Ray, height and weight and if you have any diabetes or hypertension.

There were the only things they are looking for. Since the decision will be made by CIC panel doctors, I think these doctors only act as Post masters.

All the best to you. When is your medical?
Thanks venugopal, I will post my experience after I see him tomorrow.
