Hi guys, I received another email from cpp ottawa asking for a proof of separation from my husband when actually, I already submitted a letter of explaining everything why I declared my status as legally separated. Any ideas what do they really want as a proof? Do they need a legal document that we are really separated?

You will definitely need something legal such as a divorce certificate to prove your separation from your husband. Hope this helps.

Email CIC asap and explain your situation. Maybe you can create a new thread, post the email CIC sent minus personal details and see if anyone else had similiar situation/experience and what was the outcome.

carlyle0815, how long did it take for your wife's MR after you received yours yesterday. I am in the same boat as I got my MR yesterday but my wife has still not received. We both did get our RPRF/Biodata yesterday. Some people did get the MRs for their family members together. Not sure what could be the reason for not sending it together in cases like us.

Hello,

I applied for PR on 2nd Jul 2013. My employer hasn't provided the reference letter but my onsite manager(Client) provided reference letter along with job description(what I am doing here) and how long i have been working here(more than 2 yrs) that perfectly relevant to my NOC. Along with that letter, I have attached the reference letter from my employer which was used for my work permit extension in Jan'2012 with my application form. Is there anyone with similar situation who got MR? I am bit nervous while time getting closer. My Client even specified taht they are ready to provide full time employment once I get PR. I am really waiting for the PR as my client asking me the status to provide the offer.

Please any response would be much appreciated
