Yep getting letter done ASAP to avoid further delays, hopefully I get my MR soon after. AOR was Aug 7th.

I am a NOC 6211 and I just heard back from CIC, they want a ref letter for this years hours, so i'm taking it as a good sign that I am finally being processed and that June apps are moving along.

My app was recieved June 17th.

Are you still on the same job? This year means 2014 ?

Just got PCC request.. I'm in the Philippines right now, but I have lived in Canada for almost five years, should I get a police clearnace there too?

Just got PCC request.. I'm in the Philippines right now, but I have lived in Canada for almost five years, should I get a police clearnace there too?

CIC will notify you if they need a Canadian PCC(RCMP Certificate). CIC conducts name based clearances through RCMP. Only if your name matches that of someone with a criminal record in Canada will they request RCMP certificate(this is done using your finger prints).

Oh ok, they just said police clearance from the country you have lived in for more than 6months and they specified Philippine police certificate, so i guess not.
Btw, I cant edit the spreadsheet, so if you don't mind can you update my details in the spreadsheet pls.

You're welcome. Yes as they specified Philippine, if Canada was needed they should have mentioned that as well. I don't have access to the spreadsheet lol ...I'm sure someone with access will update once they see your info.

How's the validity of your PCC? Pass the one year limit? or not within the three months before the application date?

I think it might be possible to ask again if you are currently living in India. (Not sure)

So did you get MR yet?

My PCC is still valid, it did not pass one year and also when I submit application it was only 20 days old.
I got MR yesterday and PCC Request also yesterday.
