Early February is a good bet. Besides, GCMS notes don't cost anything so you can apply every month if you want, come 2014

Thanks for your feedback whymee. See the thing is I left Canada and I'm in my home country awaiting final decision from CIC. So I would have to pay for GCMS notes. I think I will apply for those notes in February, hopefully by then we all start seeing some movement with out files

Got RCMP criminal record check based on fingerprints request today .
Any Idea how long does it take for MR to come after RCMP ?

I thought you're supposed to submit RCMP certificate with the application so I did... Looking at other threads here I think Jan/Feb applicants are getting MR's right now... Of course if we are getting MR's soon it'd be awesome!

Hey, apparently submitting RCMP certificate is not mandatory. However, it may be requested. CIC automatically conducts name-based RCMP clearances for ALL applicants. But if that does not come back clear, then a fingerprint-based clearance is required. (Means, someone with the same name as you has a criminal record). Well that's what I gathered based on reading other threads.

Yes I must agree, if MR comes for us soon that would definitely be awesome!!

If requested, You can complete RCMP procedure at Commissionaries.. Go through below link.. they do Digital fingerprinting. You will receive report in 7 business days.. find the location nearest to you..
