do you know when was your medical results uploaded?
how long it took between medical results received and decision made?

I got my MR back in February 19th, and the results were received by CIC at the beginning of March. There were some problems with my police certificate (i forgot to submit the original copy and CIC asked for it in February, I sent it but they didn't receive it in time) so it caused some delay about 2 months. So the actual time between MR received and DM is about 2 months.

Please help, we are currently on process for CEC application and we are done with our medical and paid landing fee already. My husband is the principal applicant, his employer issued LMO as restaurant manager last January 2014 but at that time we did not renew our work permit since expiry will by September 2014 and our PR for CEC on process and waiting for PPR. Definetely, i know that all LMO's are suspended and we no longer to use it to apply for renewal of WP. We are worried if the current problem will affect our CEC PR application (filed June 2013). Right now, we are planning to apply for BOWP while waiting for DM . Are we qualified to apply now or wait for within 4 months before expiry on Sept 2014? Second question, applying for BOWP I saw in extension WP doc's checklist is LMO attachment (if applicable), is it necessary for us to attach new LMO isssued to him which is still valid until June or BOWP doesn't need LMO anymore?

Timeline:

Applied :June 6, 2013
AOR: August 24, 2013
Med's Request: Feb 13, 2014
Med's Done : March 5 & 7, 2014
RFRP & Biodate: Feb 14, 2014
Addtl Docs: Feb 14, 2014 (Sched A & Family Info for my daughter)
Addtl Docs Received & Acknowledged: Feb 18, 2014
Ecas: on process
PPR: still waiting after more than a month of medical ( no update of med in ECAS until now)

Work Permit Expiry: September 2014

Thank you for anyone's help.

Im not sure if the renovation of work permit will be affected (I think yes it is affected) but your PR application is NOT affected
you are so close hang on i think you have not to worry about getting a new wp as almost sure you will get pr before (really soon)

Thanks for your reply. Hopefully PPR will be coming very very soon. :)

Got my COPR and visa stamped on my passport. Sent through VFS Chennai, India and got it stamped in just 3 business days.

Hi guys, how do you order gcms notes again, if you're outside Canada? Thanks

Hey guys,
It has been already 2 months since I paid RPRF and sent Biodata.
My status is still 'In Process'. No update - even 'Medical Received'.
Anybody who is waiting for Decision Made or PPR got a good news recently?
Hopefully waiting will be done soon.

even I am waiting from about 2.5 months for PPR. Contacted local MP, they told, they will contact CIC and let me know what's going on, it will take about 1.5 weeks for them to get an update.

Seems like CIC is slow on June applicantions, there's a lot of September applicants that already landed. I hope you'll hear something good from MP. Please let us know for any updates. Thanks

yap, you're right! I wonder how's their working system there? Coz sometimes it gets a little bit frustrating though u tell your self that patience is a virtue. :-)

Pure speculation, but maybe they work in batches? You notice that June applicants had MRs/RPRFs/PCC requests at almost the same time, same with the July/Aug/Sept..etc.
Then after they move to the next batch, whichever are left-over from previous batches will be processed from time-to-time (they may have a system that alerts them as to the "deadline" for each application). I don't think they check individual applications like everyday for updates. They just play catch-ups.

But remember, they work under government "service quality standards" so each application will be processed ideally within their time frame.

My life experience tells me that the PPR will arrive when you least expect it, not whenever you check emails and/or E-CAS (for Decision Made).
