Friends,

When should one inform CIC of a child's birth ? Immediately the very next day of birth or after about a weeks time. Pls advise.

Hi Canadavisa07

iam kind of new to this forum.
Need to add my new born kid to the application who is born outside canada.
Did my Medicals recently for me and my family members and it reached ottawa.

Have emailed to ottawa office - twice with my new born kid birth certificate (Scanned copy) and asked for next steps (what forms needs to be filled) - But didnt recieve any response yet.

Can you pls share your experience in adding your kid (what forms and steps to be done) to get my new born kid added to our application - thanks in advance

In which country was your child born ? You will need to mail them your child's birth certificate, passport copy, 4 photographs and the IMM 0008 generic application form.

We received your application for permanent residence on June 29, 2012.

We started processing your application on March 26, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

You entered Canada at the Fort Erie Peace Bridge office on August 21, 2013 and became a Permanent Resident.

also you have to pay $150 for your child....I have gone through the same situation...don't worry it will be real easy to add your child with your application..

The first one, unless you are not in Canada.
