I see that you have done meds on APR 10 (pretty much my timeline). Any idea on when was it received by CIC?

I just got my PPR today! I immediately sent it so that it reaches by tomorrow.

I have to say though that Immigration seems pretty inconsistent with keeping/receiving records! They asked me for my biodata again. I already sent it to them earlier but sent it anyway to avoid any delays/hassle. This also happened before when they asked me for a police clearance twice when I already sent it the first time.

You'd thing something like this would be more organized but I suppose not.

Anyway I hope everyone gets their PPR soon and is closer to the end of this process!! ;D

InfoSeeker, I was really concerned about this PCC situation (and yes they do make a fuss about it) but in the end it all worked out

Yahoo 7 - My PCC was a complicated situation. So the first time CIC asked for it I had sent correspondence from all possible embassies showing how Saudi doesn't officially give you a PCC. CIC responded saying an officer would review it. In March they sent me an email asking for it saying I didn't respond to their earlier request (I did). Anyway at that point I re sent them the correspondence as well as the email from CIC accepting my documents. I also managed to get a letter (took 3 weeks) from the local police and mayor in Saudi saying i had no criminal record (however it wasn't an official PPC with finger prints etc). So all in all it was a different situation from submitting a regular PCC.

JBLoknath - Seems like CIC is still working as much as it may seem otherwise at times : As for my medical, CIC received it on April 10th, I actually did it on March 22nd. I'll write that bit on my info to clarify. If yours is an e medical it should reach in a week, that's what I know.

Am a July 2012 applicant, my ecas changed from application recieved to Decision made our offices will contact you about that decision , apparently they started processing my application on May 1st and updated the status on May 6 th. It sucks to wait nine months with no update then get. Am trying to remain optimistic but from most people who had their ecas updated like that its usually a negative decision. Good luck guys best of luck to all of you # the struggle continues.

I have seen an applicant who got medical request right after his status changed to decision made so dont loose hope....

Am a July 2012 applicant, my ecas changed from application recieved to Decision made our offices will contact you about that decision , apparently they started processing my application on May 1st and updated the status on May 6 th. It sucks to wait nine months with no update then get. Am trying to remain optimistic but from most people who had their ecas updated like that its usually a negative decision. I received my GCMS notes y'day 4 weeks after I applied for that... during this period I got my PPR and even got my CoPR along with my passports returned back.

When I am looking at the GCMS notes, I noticed that my application was first started processing in Nov 2nd week only even though I sent my package in June... After Nov, they again actually started processing from Feb 1st week, during that time I got my medicals in Feb 14.

So, I would suggest not to loose hope and trust CIC.. they are working really hard.. Also, there is no comparison of one case with another.. and I would like to remind that the eCASE status is not really up-to-date.. there is no real co-relation between its status and actual action by CEC.. the status is +/- 2 to 3 weeks than the actual things going on...

and I am still waiting for my MR.
got the GCMS notes today, and looks like I passed the eligibility back in Nov 2012, yay!
But criminality is still ongoing, and no MR yet..... I guess MR will come only after the cirminality will finish, or as I suspect once they actually come back to my file to look
at the PCCs that they requested and received back in Nov 2012.... oh well, nothing I can do, but wait.....

I imagine someday CIC will be much more transparent in the PR application process. For example, there could be more status updates (eligibility passed, medical passed, etc) and some indication of processing time (for example, "Your application will be reviewed in 3 months", or "An officer will review your medical results in 2 months").

CIC could be getting a LOT LESS emails and ATIP requests, which would again boost their efficiency.

Ganesh, did you order an electronic copy of GCMS notes? If yes, what was the file size? I am a little concerned about the file size since my official email address does not allow file size of more than 4MB. So, I was thinking if I can give an alternate email address than the one mentioned on my CEC application. Please advise.

not Ganesh here, but just received my GCMS notes, lots of pages, and size is about 900 kB, so I am pretty sure it will be under 4MB in the end.
