@ganesh123 - thanks for the info. Also, I am planning to get married but it can take a couple of months. What would you suggest if I want to add my spouse to my application? What is the latest I can add spouse to my application and what implications it will have on my own PR application, I mean will it get delayed or something?

Thanks fozfer. When did you receive your AOR ? Just curious to know if you had any correspondence with CIC since your AOR date until you received your MR.

Yes, I got my MR after 6 months and I didn't contact CIC at all during this time!

I have not received any communication from CIC since I got my AOR in July. My eCAS shows that my application was received on June 20. That's it.
I'd sent an e-mail to Ottawa in early March and they responded that my application was in queue for review by immigration officer. I sent another e-mail few days back but have not received any response yet.

Looking at this thread, I guess almost everybody has received MR by now. Is there anyone in the same boat as me?

Not required. All that is required to be submitted is the long form Birth Certificate of the baby born in Canada.

since my kid is canadian born ,she was never a part of my application as she already has a canadian passport .so i didnt include her details in the biodata form

still waiting for the passport to be sent back ..
