congrats, that's a good email to receive!
seems like it's the new practice. Just wait and you should get the MR soon.

Hi sherych did you get that "new message" as well?
From what I've seen in this forum ppl usually get this message along with the RPRF and biodata request.

Hello arbutus, from what I read, the attachment for biodata form seems to be a html file, so make sure you didn't miss that.

CIC received my application on June 28th, I got the AOR on July 31st and just got an e-mail saying that my application has been found eligible for processing under CEC (yay!) and asking me to pay the Right to Permanent Residence Fee. It also said to fill out the attached Biodata form but I did not receive any attachment, contacting CIC about this.

I received a separate e-mail telling me there was an attached form to fill out but again, I saw no attachment.

Good luck to all!

Hi, no, not yet. So I am just patiently waiting for any news from CIC.

Hi arbutus, from your signature I saw your MR date is Mar 28th - does that mean you got the MR, RPRF request and the bio data request all at once?

Thanks

pay attention that the biodata form is an html document. depending on your email client you may have issue to open it. I saw on another post yesterday that senior member of this forum sent that form to another guy with same issue like you.

Thanks pjcanada. I was actually asking if you ever received the following email.

"Dear xxx:

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose."

I've not received this one so far. Hopefully I'll receive it once I complete medicals.

I got this email which was the RPRF email. So I suppose pjcanada you'll get this when you get the RPRF request? Wonder why some people are getting both MR and RPRF together and some are getting it separately.

I guess so ssparkles. There is one March applicant who has to wait for 5 months to receive PPR after he did medicals. Quite a long wait

Process and procedures seemed to be changing a lot over the last couple months, with different things coming at different times for people.

On my application front, my last change is my ECAS now says "Medical results have been received." (Meds were sent on March 4th)
