My DMP has given me the tracking number and I know my medicals have been reached to Ottawa last week, but still I still see the status change as "In Progress".....but not medicals received...........

I don't think this matters as iceman4231 rightly mentioned about not getting happy till we get the final thing...

hi guys i had submitted my medicals on9th feb ,the same got updated yest on ecas as "medicals received "

any idea by wen shud i expect the rprf feed request ?
anyone else in the same situation !!

cheers !!

Good for you.

My medical result reached Ottawa on Mar 20 at 1105...Expecting to see the ecas status change to "med received" by the 2nd week of April I guess?

Re your concern about RPRF request, I've asked the same in another thread and what I got from a nice member is that, we can always pay the RPRF without the notice from CIC...just pay and email them the receipt...Though I prefer to wait until the official request haha...

One person on trackitt with medicals sent on Feb 04 received PPR last Friday. Just FYI.

CEC as well? No matter what thats fast...good for him/her...
If thats the case its like PPR after 6-7 weeks the med reached Ottawa...

Hope I will see mine around the first/second week of May...

Yes CEC as well. Hope things move fast for everyone. :)

Ya, we all hope so. And dont mean to be a pessimist...but look at the overall timeline. They have been waiting since April. I think thats why CIC rushed on his case.

App filed: Apr 2012
AOR: Aug 2012
MR: Jan 2013
MR sent: Feb 2013
PPR: Mar 2013

Total: approximately 12 months (by the time everything is done, prob 13-14 months, which is the estimated completion published by CIC).

To me, this seems normal, with certain variations in the timeline...meaning more/less time between some stages. But, lets hope that the pace keeps up and even improves. It would be awesome! :)

You are so right CEC2013....Its almost 8 months now....especially when I realized one of my friend got their whole process finished in 8 months even though he had some delayed documents....only faith and hope will help us stay strong....its getting closer....

Good luck everyone....

Generally it is dated to 12 months after your medical (medical expiry) or passport, or earlier (sometimes 60 days after issuance)

There is no new medical request in a while where some of the June applicants are getting their passport request (or in their final stage). I wonder if they process applications based on batch of certain number.

Hi Seniors,

Normally, how long does CIC take to response case specific inquiries? I sent an email to CIC last Thursday, nothing has been heard yet. Should I inquire about the inquiry?

Thanks.

It depends on the nature of inquiry - 2 days, a week or never.
What is the info that you have sought ? And how exactly are you planning to enquire about the inquiry ?
